Why To Hold On To A Windows Xp Software For The Fore Seeable Future

In my opinion Windows XP software is still the best available. It’s true that I have not yet tried Windows 7 but, of the others, XP seems to be the best on the market. If you are looking to buy an operating system and don’t want to spend a lot of money then XP will probably be your best choice.

Vista has come down a lot in price but this was a disappointment to me from the beginning. Any new features or improvements were eclipsed by the lag it caused to most computer systems. That fact alone was enough to turn off most buyers. Granted with increased memory it actually ran fairly well but most systems with that much memory still sold for quiet a bit of money when Vista hit the market.

Linux is fairly cheap and some people really like it. I am not one of them. I have a difficult time learning a new format and frankly I don’t have time to take to learn to use it properly. This is an operating system geared towards programmers and techs. Yes, it is cheap but this is not a system I would want to have to use on a daily basis though I am sure it does wonderfully for those who do use it.

Windows 7 is of course the newest software available on the market. This may soon replace XP and Vista both and Linux may be almost completely forgotten. There will of course be a few glitches; how could there not be? Most of these will be fixable with out much problem and most users may never even know they existed. Probably the biggest problem with Windows 7 is the price. This operating system is still a bit pricy for those looking for a replacement for what ever reason.

Windows XP software was the answer to prayers for those who found previous versions lacking. This operating system is what we have come to know and feel comfortable using on our computers. Though there have been 2 new systems put on the market since XP was launched I think you will still be able to find this program on computers for a while to come.

The biggest problem with Windows XP software may very well be finding a replacement copy if you need one. This is tried and true and most will opt to stay with what they know for now. The prices may go up some as copies become harder to find and more people hold on to the copies they do have.

I intend to stay with XP a while longer, at least until the verdict is in on Windows 7. Maybe you just don’t like change or maybe you simply don’t have a lot of free time to deal with a new product. What ever your reasons are XP is still out there if you look around.
