Sennheiser headphones and the audio enthusiast go back a few years. This company offers headphones in a wide variety of prices and capabilities. Sennheiser also makes a number of different audio headsets and other devices, and all such audio devices are of the best quality and the widest availability.

As a matter of classification, Sennheiser normally sorts its headphones into more than a few different categories. Some fall into wired headphones categories while others will be sorted into wireless headphone categories. There are professional and semi-professional lineups in addition to headphones made for the amateur enthusiast. All of these niches are well-defined, like the DJ headphones in the Sport line of headphones.

Sennheiser has more than a dozen different wired headphones in the lineup. All are of differing prices and differing capabilities. Generally, they’re available either as on-the-ear or as around-the-ear. In some models, bass response is emphasized more than in others, depending on how pricey the headphones are. Additionally, others will specialize in passive noise attenuation.

Sennheiser headphones can come in wireless capable delivery systems. For the most part, the company utilizes radio frequency (called “RF”) rather than infrared-type technology. Certain headphones in the lineup come equipped with SRS Surround Sound capability. There is even one model which is equipped with rechargeable batteries already inside.

One thing to keep in mind with any sort of wireless headphone setup is battery power. The need to change out alkaline batteries can occur quite frequently due to the power drain inherent in these wireless headphones. At any rate, it’s always a good idea to invest a few dollars in a couple pairs of rechargeable batteries. Your pocketbook will thank you in the long run.

As always, there are people out there who are looking to have the best sound reproduction and audio quality possible even in their headphones. Sennheiser understands this and markets a lineup of audiophile headphones that deliver high-quality sound with very little noise distortion, all while extending excellent wear comfort. Sennheiser headphones in this lineup aren’t cheap, but most audio fans would say that they are worth the price.

Among audio enthusiasts, Sennheiser is a well-known company and also appreciated for the quality of its craftsmanship and also for how much attention it pays to good customer service. It has an excellent array of headphones and other audio devices on the market, and customers consistently rate the headphones very highly. As with anything else, personal preference will usually play the greatest role when it comes to purchasing something like this. Sennheiser understands this and tries to stand out from the crowd.
