Input Director Review

This is my review of an application called Input Director. What this little app does is it allows you to control multiple computers from a single mouse and keyboard. Even clipboard items can be copied and pasted from one computer to another. I found this extremely useful after purchasing my HP Mini Netbook and still having the need to access certain applications on my bigger heavier laptop. I can work on both computers at the same time and only have to type and use the mousepad on a single machine. The app works flawlessly via Wi-fi, and I haven’t noticed any bugs or issues as of yet.
The setup is very simple, and the application itself is not very big. If you have a connection established to the slave computer and find the need to restart the slave computer it automatically reconnects and the master computer lets you know when it is available. This is just too cool.
This one is a must have if you ever find the need to work on more than one computer at a time and don’t want to keep switching from one keyboard & mouse to the other.
This software is available for free for non-commercial use. Commercial entities desiring to use the product in a corporate environment should contact the author.
