Every morning, Jonathan Coulton’s radio alarm clock would bring him the smooth, polished tones of Johnson’s voice, which got JoCo wondering what kind of secret double life a guy like Johnson must lead. Now we know. For my video, I made Johnson a television news anchor instead of a radio host because a video about a guy talking into a microphone would be really boring. Terry Gross is the host of NPR’s wonderful show Fresh Air. Does Ms. Gross lead a secret double life like Soterios Johnson? We don’t know that she doesn’t… I’d like to thank my co-creative director Nick Bayhi for helping with many of the WoW news gags shown in the video. I also want to give special thanks to the members of the real Action Nine News guild on the Whisperwind server. I’m not a member of their guild and they had no idea I was going to use their guild’s name and logo in a video. But it just fit so well, I had to use it. Hope you’re not mad, guys.
