Candlebox Far Behind Music Video in HD High Definition With Lyrics Director: Nick Egan Producer: Michael Bodnarchek ———————————————————— Far Behind (Lyrics) Now maybe I didn’t mean to treat you bad But I did it anyway And then maybe Some would say your life was sad But you lived it anyway And so maybe Your friends they stand around they watch you crumble As you falter down to the ground And then someday Your friends they stand beside as you were flying Oh you were flying oh so high But then someday people look at you for what they call their own They watch you suffer Yeah they hear you calling home And then some day we could take our time To brush the leaves aside so you can reach us But you left me far behind Now maybe I didn’t mean to treat you oh so bad But I did it anyway Now maybe some would say you’re left with what you had But you couldn’t share the pain No, no, no Couldn’t share the pain, they watch you suffer Now maybe I could have made my own mistakes But I live with what I’ve known And then maybe we might share in something rare But won’t you look at where we’ve grown Won’t you look at where we’ve gone But then someday comes Tomorrow holds a sense of what I feel for you in my mind As you trip the final line And that cold day when you lost control Shame you left my life so soon you should have told me But you left me far behind Now maybe I didn’t mean to treat you oh so bad But I did it anyway Now maybe some would say you …

This is one of my favorites. I’m 34 and I’m still not sure why most of the guys my age hate it.
always drinkin and always thinkin
a cuz of mine told me he really liked the jam, yup i agreed. He always had a heart condition since he was little. one night after his last surgery we all got a call from the hospital, he was not doing good, to get the family together and be there. It was Feb. and got stuck in a snow storm, this song popped on the tuner, we could not make it, nor did he. I played it 4 him there while we said goodbye. when we left the hospital that day, this song came on! luv n miss u Pie
Love this song i just did a cover of it
@TheRockerchicka77 Hate to break it to you , but this is just the same cookie cutter crap as Soul Asylum, Alice in Chains, and every other Nervana grunting little-talent w/ powerchords of the time.
That said, I still love the song.. even if it was basically as ‘casio demo tune’ of the time.
For my loving Bhron…had I only known…..
Great !! Take a Bow…
Cheers
Great !! Take a Bow…
Cheers
this song is the epitome of nostalgia for the 90s for me… I hope I never get tired of it. And Rockerchicka I agree especially the very beginning is emotional. The whole song is like the ending to a fairytale.
I think this is one of the best songs to come out in the 90s..Though have to admit Pearl Jam was one great concert..and the lead singer of candlebox DAYUM!
this song is about losing a friend too a drug overdose, ive been there
boy now this video takes me back to a better time.
@yournightmareify dude i have too. but yea this song is a great song. one of the best songs of the 90′s. greatest era in music history. metallica was the only bright spot in the 80′s in my opinion.
It’s his brother
thumbs up to kevin, peter scotty and barty….and good job budda!!!!!!
these guys are the best,,,know them and love them
I used to love this when child, and now I feel pretty nostalgic
@yournightmareify
same here
@aztecalnd I agree 100%. Too many shitty singers for me. I just break out my cd’s and casettes. lol. I forgot this generation Don’t even know what casettes, 8 tracks,or Vinyl are.
thumbs up for sure
The 80s and 90s were the best decades for music
God, I wish I’d been born earlier
@aztecalnd ya i no that guy needs to die in a very cold scary bug infested hole
Yeah, one of my favourite songs of all-time! Rock it!!! Check out “The Gracious Few.” Combo of Live and Candlebox
So many of the mid to late 90′s songs take me back to the best part of my life, and this is without a doubt one of the top 10. They did so many great songs. Such a shame that you don’t hear from them anymore.
@diggler286 How true! I grew up on that stuff. Nothing sounds as good as vinyl though.
