Adobe Certified Document Services or Adobe CDS pertains to a multilingual digital signing technology made to allow authors to give a guarantee of authenticity and integrity to their recipients of the PDF file/s they have created. This means that the document in question was not altered from the time it was signed. Adobe CDS also certifies that the identity of the author has been subjected to the verification by a trusted organisation. This trusted organisation earlier mentioned pertains to the Adobe CDS provider. Upon opening of the file, two notifications appear to inform the recipient about the trust. One is the blue ribbon and the other is an information bar found at the top portion of the screen. This particular digital signing solution doesn’t require additional client software or configuration in order to run.
